Advice has been received by Mr and Mrs Dickson, of Pukekohe, that Pte. Walter T. Williams died on May 4th whilst a prisoner ol war in Germany. Prior to j"iriing the colours the deceased was engaged in faiming as a partner with Mr Walter Hil's at Puni and he resided in Pukekohe with Mr and Mrs Dickson. He came to the district some eight years ago from Shropshire, England Leaving with thp 29th Reinforcements in July of list vear he was taken prisoner on April 14th last. His brother, Pte A tlnir Williams, has been twice wounded, but is now back at the front once more.
