APPRECIATION AND THANKS.
(To the Editor.)
Sir,—The entertainment given on Tuesday last necessitated many helpers who gave willingly and freely both of time and material without the slightest hope of recognition in an ordinary newspaper report. Upon the occasion in question the support given was so valuable and tended in such great measure to the successful production of the entertainment that I feel it my duty to publicly thank Messrs Perkinp, W. Roulston, W. T. Jones and Blake Bros, for material lent; Mr Coady for free use of hall for practices extending over the four weeks; Messrs Webster and Baxter for timely aid in stage fixtures; Mr F. Simpson for undertaking, at short notice, the duties of stage manager; Mr Dean for valued aid in seating a large reserved area ; Mr Duncan for skilled help in stage erections ; and Messrs Guest and Barber for cart and car services. The whole of the above services and material were placed at my disposal entirely without charge. I am also deeply indebted to the Pukekohe orchestra's aid under the adverse circumstance of short elbow room and last but not least to Mrs W. T. Jones for valued and skilled help in dressing rooms and Misse3 N. Hawke and F. Bailey in stage decorations.—l am, etc., CECIL ROADLEY. Advt.
