PATUMAHOE.
" Patumahoe Farmer" writes:— Permit me to sympathise with your correspondent "Soft Drink" in not being one of the "elect." Everyone cannot bo at the hub; some must be at the periphery and some between. Consolation, the periphery and the between are nearing the hub every day. The "ten thousand lesser things that are mortised and adjoined " may even yet provide the Mayor and councillor and "Soft Drink" may adorn the hub without the "dried milk." How about a casein and casein whey to cement the spokes with a little Patumahoe spirits to consolidate the cement? A balanced mixture creates pleasant dreams, and will improve "Soft Drink's"; may even produce a "bold effusion." Buck up. "Soft Drink." don't lie downhearted ! With plenty of soft drink and a little "sting." wonderful things are possible in the great Mauku districteven :!Ti for dried milk, if only in a dream.
