An extra choice line ot small Jersey heifers, the advertised line from Maunyaturoto. were keenly sought after.
At Pukekolie on Tuesday we had an average yarding of all classes of -lock (except crown steers), with the exception of yoiuiii stock, which improved. prices being about the same as recent sales. Ycjirlinir to |B-m«>nth steers, w/7'f. to £7/12'6; heifers, same atre. £4 15'- to £ll/15/-: calves, steers. £2 17 t> to £4'fl/-; heifer calves, e-j 111'- to £4/2/-; weedy calves, £ 1 ■ > - to £2 ; 7 »i; empty cows and lieilers.
