A \aledielmy >oeial was tendered last Friday to Private .lack Hill, who was home on final leave. There was a -oud attendance, and the function was a very successful one. Mr. W. H. c. Glassou presided, and delivered a telling speech. The other speakers were Messrs. Ballard. Walker. T. Brooks, and Fyfe. Music was supplied by Messrs. Morgan and Cossey. and 1.1 n dancing was controlled by Mr. Toonian. The caier'ii'.' was as usual well carried out by Messrs. Ruff. The Red Cross helpers are workingill a very enthusiastic way. and so far have done very well indeed.
