PAPATOETOE
The Papatoetoe picture proprietors have generously arranged that the proceeds of the Saturday night entertainments this month shall be devoted to the Bed Cross fund. It is confidently anticipated that the grand plain and fancy dress hall to be held in the Town Hall next Friday will he one of the most brilliant and successful gatherings of the kind that has ever taken place in Papatoetoe. The assembly will prohably not •nlv he large, lint it should mean the contribution of a substantial sum in furtherance of the candidature of Papatoetoe's queen in the Red Cross Carnival campaign.
