FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF INTENTION To STRIKE RATES PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that tin? Fr-tnklin County Council, in pursuance of its powers under Sections 11», 118 of the Counties Act, 1908, Seetion 41 of the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, Section 48 of the Hating Act, 190s. and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, intends on Thursday, the 4th day of July, T9lB. to make and levy for the year commenced on the Ist day of Anril, 1918, and endiag on the 31st day of March. 1919, the following rates, viz:— GENERAL RATES of one penny farthing (l!4d) in the £ on the rateable (capitali value of all rateable property as appearing on the Valuation Rolls for the time being in force for the Awhitu Riding, Drury Riding, Hunua Riding and Mercer Riding (excluding Mercer Town District) of Franklin County, respectively. GENERAL RATES of one penny (Id) in the £ on the rateable (capital) value of all rateable property as appearing on the Valuution Rolls for the time being in force for the Waipipi Riding and Waiuku Riding of Franklin County respectively. A GENERAL RATE of seven-eighths of a penny (Id) in the £ on the rateable (capital) value of all rateable property as appearing on the Valuation Roll for the time being ki force for the Mauku Riding of Franklin County. GENERAL RATES of three farthings (2d) in the £ on the rateable (capital) value of all rateable property as appearing on the Valuation Rolls for the time being in force for the Pukekohe East Riding and Pukekohe West Riding of Franklin County respectively. A HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID RATE of one sixth of a penny (id) in the £ upon the rateable (capital) value of all Tateable property as appfaring on the Valuation Rolls for the time being in force for the whole of the County of Franklin. THE WHOLE of the said rates to be payable in each case in one sum on the Slst day of July, 1918, at the County Office, Hall Street, Pukekohe. to Alan Percival Day, the Council's Collector, or to such other person as may be from time to time appointed to collect the same. NOTICE is hereby further given that the Valuation Rolls of the County are open for inspection at the County Office between the hours of 10 a.m and i p.m. on all business days of the week except Saturday,when they shall be open for inspection between the hours of 10 o'clock a.m. and 12 noon.
