FANCY DRESS BALL A most enjoyable evening was spent in the Funi Public Ilsll on Monday, Juno 3rd, on the occasion of a plain and fancy dress hall The building was crowded to its utmost holding capacity. Music was supplied by Misb Cave, Miss Iris Fulton and Mr J. Roberts, extras being played by Miss Cronin and Miss Blake. The following were some of the fancy dresses : Ladies: Miss Maloney (Kodak), Miss Martin (France), Mrs J. Maloney (Ireland), Mrs Geraghty (Belgium), Mrs D. Maloney (Pukekohe Times), Miss Blake Miss V. Maloney (Nurse), Miss Hewlett (Union Jack), Miss I Fulton (Sailor Lass), MissMcWatt (Night), Mrs Evans (night), and Miss Kenealey, who was awarded first prize (Red Cross Nurse). Men : Messrs L. McWatt and R. Irwin (Dad and Mam from the back-blocks), It. Fulton (Bowler), Roy Fulton .Cadet). The proceeds of tho evening went towards defraying the cost of the lights recently installed in tin- hall
