With reference to tho application made by tho Board for the Franklin County Council's consent to tho Board forming the road and footpath and placing scoria on Albert Street and abo to tho fencing off of footpaths on Wellington Street (both boundary roads) at an estimated cost of £25 respectively the Clerk to tho Council wrote that whilst the Council would grant permission for tho work to bo carried out no responsibility for any share of the cost could bo accepted by tho Council owing to tho furthcoming extension of tho Town Board's boundaries Ho also stated that the Council was prepared as from April Ist last fo adjust tho rates on thi' portion of the County proposed to b added to tho Board's district. Referring to the portions of Walker's
and Dominion Roads, of which the Board proposed fn assume the control, tho County Clerk reminded fho Board of the pioniiso made t forward au < fix -i-«1 letter and plan indicating tho portions of such road*; proposal to be taken over.
