POTATO MANURE.

Challenge Brand Mixture.

GUAKANTEED CONTENTS OF POTABH.

Since the beginning of the war potash has been a vanishing quantity in the commercial manure stocks of the country and the absence of the manure has been felt by producers. The beneficial effect of an application of potash to a potato crop is very well known for ipotash is distinctively an essential ingredient for the production of a full crop of wellflavoured tubers. It has also been proved that potash has a health giving or medicinal effect upon plant life and crops to which applications of potash have been made have proved more resistant to disease *han other crops not so treated. A line of potash to replenish their supplies was recently secured by Messrs Wright, Stevenson & Co, Auckland, from an unexpected source and as a result this firm is able to offer probably the most complete potato manure on the market at the present time. The reputation of this firm's manuree has already been well established in this district and the quality of the ingredients in this potato manure should give growers the very best possible value for their money. The price asked— £lO 10s per ton f.o.r, Auckland, less 2J per cent discountmakes the manure quite the best value as compared with other manures which have no potash as a constituent.

Full details of the analysis of the mixture may be obtained from the representative of the firm in Puke* kohe, Mr A. J. Heighway, Box 27, Telephone 33. NOTE .—Mr Heighway has been accepted for military service, but in his absence Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co. will be adequately represented in the district.—Advt.
