Mr J. Jones, auctioneer, New City Market, reports under date of Saturday last as follows:—The market this week has been very good, a large volume of business has been put through. The poultry market was heavily supplied and better prices are ruling. All good killable birds are in streng demand. The potatoe market is much lower.
