EAST TAMAKI.

ROLL OF HONOUR Mr T. A. Alexander, of East Tamaki and late of Rama Rama, received word last Tuesday that his son Roy, chief motor mechanic in the Royal Navy Patrol Service, had been severely wounded in the late naval raid. He is now in hospital in Dunkirk, France. ROAD BOARD ELECTION Polling took place on Wednesday to fill the three ordinary vacancies on the East Tamaki Road Board and the result of the voting was as follows :—Elected: H. Sharp 78, R. C. Wallace 73, J. T. White 65. Unsuccessful: E.' Blake 40. Messrs Sharp, Wallace and White were the retiring members.
