CLEVEDON.

The Clevedon Agent for " the Times" is Mr W. H. Collett, from whom copies of the paper may be obtained. The annual meeting of ratepayer! of the Wairoa Road District is to be hold on Saturday, May 4th, at 2.30 p.m., when the Board's annual report and balance sheet will be presented. In commemoration of the anniversary of Anzac Day a service was held in the Anglican Church at Clevedon yesterday afternoon at 2.30, when ft large congregation was present representative of the various religious bodies in the district. The altar was draped and decorated while the chancel was hung with the National flags. The Vicar, the Bev W. C, Wood, gave an address on "After war reconstruction," which was attentively listened to. Mrs Dawe presided at the organ and played the Dead March. An offertory was taken up on behalf of the Soldiers' Hutment Fund.
