Private advice was yesterday received by Mr fl. Wilcox, of Buckland, that his fifth son, Gunner Jas. F. Wilcox,-is suffering from gun shot wounds in his left arm and is in hospital in England. Gunner Wilcox, who left with the 9th Reinforcements, has three brothers and two cousins serving in France, all having enlisted from Buckland. Gunner Wilcox is the youngest member of the party.
