OTAHUHU
Two teams from the Otahuhu Bowling Club have entered for the Easter tournament at Cambridge on Monday next, and judging from their recent performances on the local green should give a creditable account of themselves.
As reflecting on the progress of Otahuhu it is gratifying to note that a well-arranged bungalow is being erected in Mot street by Mr T. £. Short. The building is of six rooms and is well designed, with a pagoda entrance porch, and is a decided credit to the district.
At a recent meeting of the Otahuhu Patriotic Committee the following were elected members: Messrs E. Bhepherd, E. Ashcroft, W. E. Wells, A. H. Hodge, H. L. Marsack. The next meeting of the Patriotic Committee will be held on Tuesday, 9th April.
