EASTER HOLIDAY TRAINS.

The Railway Department announce extra trains for the Easter holidays. As from Tuesday, March 26th, to Sunday, April 7th, two express trains will run each way between Auckland and Wellington, leaving Auckland at 7.10 p m. and 7.-10 p.m. and leaving Wellington at 12 45 p.m. and 2pm From Tuesday, March 26th, to Monday, April Bth, inclusive, the usual 915 am express train from Auckland will carry passengers for the Thames and Cambridge lines only and will be followed at 9 50 a.m. by an express for Rotorua. Similarly two expresses will run to Auckland, being due there at 5 p.m. and 5.20 pm. respectively. All these trains will stop at Pukekohe. On Thursday, March 28th, the 12 noon train from Mercer will not stop at stations between Mercer and Auckland but a relief train will leavo Morcor for Auckland at 12.15 p m The usual 5.42 p.m. Aucklandfa patoetoe train will run through to Mercer. The 9.45 pm. train Auckland to Papakura will not run but a train will leave Auckland for Papatoetoe at 9.20 p.m. and for Papakura at 11.15 p.m. A train will also leave Papatoetoe for Auckland at 10.15 p.m. On Good Friday, in addition to the ordinary express trains, the following trains will run, viz. :—Auckland to Papakura, 1.13 p.m. and 6.22 p.m. ; Auckland to Papatoetoe, 5.17 p.m. ; Auckland to Mercer, 10.0 a.m; Auckland to Frankton, 7.16 a.m. and 34 3 p.m. Papatoetoe to Auckland, 6 31 p.m. ; Papakura to Auckland, 10.53 and 4.40 p.m. ; Mercer to Auckland, 6.40 a.m ; Frankton to Auckland, 9.45 am. and 2.30 p.m. The following will be the service for Easter Monday in addition to the i.rdinary express trains, viz. : Auckland to Papatoetoe. 7.10 a.m., 4 17 pm., 5.42 pin, 6.42 p.m. , Auckland to Papakura, 845 a.m., 1.13 p.m , 5 17 p in, 9.45 p.m. ; Auckland to Mercor, 715 a.m., 3.45 pm. : Auckland to Frankton, 7 15 a.m ,3 45 p.m. Papatoetoe to Auckland, K.l am, 5.10 pm, 6.31 p m ; Papakura to Auckland, 6.38 a a., 10.10 am, 235 pm, 6,42 p.m. ; Mercer to Auckland. 6.40 urn, 120 noon, and 5.1s p.m.; Frankton to Auckland, 9.15 am, 2.30 p.m.
