It is reported that as a result of the finding of the Boyal Commission held at vVaiuku recently to inquire into the Waikato River Board's operations in the Waikato River, that no damage has so far been done, but that such would eventually come to pas?, the Crown Lands Department has issued instructions to the Board to remove, in sections, the two groynes iu the Aka Aka channel, and to either take the «illows out to sea or to burn them. It is understo >d that the Board will decline to complv with the instructions and that if the Department itself undertakes the work the Board will move in the Supreme Court for action to bn stayed.
