FRANKLIN COUNTY FINANCE

At last Thursday's meeting of the Franklin County Council the Clerk (Mr Alan P. Day) reported as follows: COUNTY FUND ACCOUNT The overdraft at the National Bank is £12,289 10s 2d. Transfers from Loan accounts, amounts due for Government grants expended, temporary advances to loan accounts and cash on hand due to this account amount to approximately £1875. The accounts now due and payable from this account as per list attached hereto amount to £1834 16s and are made up as follows: General (including crusher, plant, etc) £523 Us 7d, Awnitu riding £64 2s, Hunua£B2 8s 9d, Drury £l6O 8s 3d, Mauku £9O lis Id, Mercer £169 8s lid, Pukekohe £323 16s 6d, Waipipi £92 16s4d, Waiuku £153 0s 2d, Contractor's deposits 18s, Government Grant Account £47 7s 2d, Interest Accounts £l2O 7s 3d.
