Sire, that great Champion Marcellus, which was purchased by Win, Taylor, Esq.. of Green Hill, Te Awamutu* for the sum of 800 guineas, and stood at a fee of 8 guineas ; dam, Dolly by Highland Willie, by Jock-o'-Hazeldene, and grand dam by Lord Derby (imp). Royal Marcellus has not yet been exhibited in the Bhow ring, but in the near future there is every probability that he will be given a chance to compete against all comers, as he is a horse of wonderful quality and breeding, and may be expected to gain Show ring honours. Intending breeders will do well to inspect stock sired by Royal Marcellus, which are now two years old, and yearlings. Good judges have expressed their opinion that his stock show promise of being second to none that have ever been sired in the district of Waiuku. Terms: Service Fee; Three Guineas.
