BOMBAY

A patriotic concert and dance was held in the Bombay Hall on November 29th last and was a great success. The object was to raise funds for the Ladies Sewing Guild to buy material for the bazaar which is to be held some time in February next. Mr H. V. Burton, of Manurewa, kindly arranged the programme and brought down the artists, items being rendered by Misses M Craig, F. Freshney, Jessie Bartlett, and Messrs T. C. Seaton, T. J. Corin and T. Harris. The proceedings were most enjoyable and to Mr Burton thanks are due for providing such an excellent entertainment.
