NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS Wfijr; WArUKU BRANCH RAILWAY On and after Monday, 10th December, 1917, the Waiuku Branch Railway between Paerata and Patumahoe will be taken over by the New Zealand Railway Department. Passengers will not be carried on the Branch in the meantime. Goods traffic will be worked on Saturdays only. 623 BY ORDER.

LEGAL NOTICE Mr W. P. Hopkins, of the firm of Thome, Thome and Hopkins, Barristers and Soliciters, has received notice that he has now been accepted as fit for active service and will leave Pukekohe about the middle of December. The business of Thorne, Thome and Hopkins will be carried on as usual during Mr Hopkins' absence with the Forces, and Mr Fred Thorne, a member of the firm, will visit Pukekohe every Tkursday and the office will be open daily. 611
