POKENO VALLEY' A correspondent writes: Things are humming in this district, for the claims of the Pokeno School Committce have be9n jumped. The Committee are most indignant and have called a public meeting of protest for qpxt Friday evening, when some good, plain, straight talkitg may be anticipated. A bill convening the meeting in question invites the public to " come and do your duty by upholding your committee, who h*/e uphold you."
