Taylor, Esq.. of Green Hill, Te Awamutu. for tho sum of 800 guineas, and stood at a fee of 8 guineas ; dam, Dolly by Highland Willie, by Jock-o'-Haztldene, and grand dam by Lord Derby (imp). Royal Marceilus has not yet been exhibited in the Show ring, but in the near future there is every probability that he will be given a chance to compete against all comers, as he is a horse of wonderful quality and breeding, and may be expected to gain Show ring honours. Intending breeders will do well to inspect stock sired by Royal Marceilus, which are now two years old, and yearlings. Good judges have expressed their opinion that his stook show promise of being second to none that have ever been sired in the district of Waiuku. Terms: Service Fee; Three Guineas. It will be seen that he has a show ring recurd hard to heat in the Dominion. Heather Brae possesses all thequali ties-, of the modern Clydesdale, namely, plenty of size, beautiful quality, and great action. The services of this tine horse should be in great demand, as he is absolutely one of the best sires at the present time in the North Island. TERMS : £4 4s for single marcs.
