The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company will hold a dairy sale at Pukekohe next Monday and their usual monthly stock sale the following day (Tuesday). A further list of dates and places for the attendance of a Government officer to inoculate calves against blackleg will bo found in our advt. columns.

The attention of non-supplying shareholders of the New Zealand Dairy Association is drawn to an advt. in this issue relative to a meeting to be held at Hamilton on Thursday next. The Snowflake Concert Party are to repeat on Monday evening next in the Premier Hall, Pukekohe, the successful entertainment they recently gave in aid of the Red Cross Fund and the proceeds will again be devoted to the Red Cross cause.

Mr J. K. Ledger (Telephone No. 1 Ofes") advertises that he is engaging in the motor-car business in Pukekohe and that his Pulman car is open for hire He also announces a special trip to Auckland for tlin Elli'rslie Races next Saturday, seats for which can now be booked.

The poor attendance of pupils a the compulsory continuation classts in Pukekohe is engaging the atten tion of the Truant Offi< or, who reports that only about half the number of pupils that should be present show up. Unless attend ances are more regular prosecutions are to be instituted. Members of the Pukekohe Temis Club are requested to note that play in the competitions for the five trophies will commence on Saturday next and that particulars of the same will -be found posted up in the pavilion. —Advt.
