FARMERS' UNION MEETING A mooting of the Buckland l>randi of tlu> Funnels' Union was held on Saturday night, the I:sth inst, a fair number of members being present. A letter was received from the Mauku branch requesting the Buckland branch to appoint delegates to attend a meeting to bo held in I'ukekohe to discuss the sub-Provincial scheme ar; J Messrs A. Uuumier, J. K. Hamilton, and K Neal were sr-livti-d t<> attend.
It was decided to join the correBpondence classes, now being formed by tho Provincial Secretary. By joining these classes tho branch will ho supplied with papers written by oypoits, which will bo road and discussed at the meetings.
