At the meeting of the Executive Committee held on Friday, September 28th, at Pukekohe, there wore present Messrs J. N. Massey (in the chair), A P. Daysh, J. Wylie, S. J Murray, W. J. A. Moore, F. Perkins, W. J. Johns, W. J. I). Sharp, F. Ballard, A. Gutnmer and J. Roulston with tho secretary (Mr J. M. Baxter). JUDGING LIOIIT HORSES A letter was read from the Auckland A. & P. Association recommending that a more uniform system should he adopted in the awards made by judges in the Light Horse Soction at Shows and suggesting that a conference of such judges should bo hold. No act'on was taken. DAY Mr Perkins' mentioned that the Pukekohe Red Cross Committee pronosed holding a Demonstration mi the l'.ttli October and it was probable that application would be made fot tho use of tho Show Ground—lt was decided to grant tho use of the ground if required, subject to *he lessee's ( Messrs J. and 1).
