PUKEKOHE BOROUGH. COUNCIL NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council, held on Wednesday the26th day of September, 11U7, the following resolution was tassel and will be Buqraitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council, to be held on Wednesday, the 24th day of October, 1917, at 2 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Edinburgh street : RESOLUTION Whereas the sums of (a) £*3oo, lb) £1750, and (c) £SBOO borrowed by the Pukekohe Borough Corporation for (a) Street Improvement, (b) Town District Stre. ts Improvements, and (c) completion and Extension of Waterworks respectively, arc due and payable on the Ist day of November, 1917, and whereas the Sinking "unds in respect of the said loans amount only to (a) £454. lb) £95, and Ic) £317 respectively, and the sums of (a) £7900. lb) £ir.Bo, and(c)£ss2<! are required to payoff the said loans; Now. therefore, the Pukekohe Borough Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913" liereby resolves, bv way of Special Order : Fir>t, to borrow the said sums of (a £7901), (b) £I6BO, and (c) 55520 for the purpose of paying off the said loans respectively. Second, that the said sums of (a) £7900, (b) £IOBO, and (c) £5530 shall be payable on the Ist day of November, 1926, or such earlier date as shall be determined by the Council. Third, that for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the said loans the slid Council hereby makes and levies (a) a Special Rate of U of Id in the pound upon the Capital value of all rateable property in the "Old Borough" special rating area defined as including all the land which being part of the former area of the Borough of Pukehohe as Gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette on the 25th July, 1913, still remai.s part cf the present Borough of Puke kohe. (b) A Special Rate of i of a penny in the pound upon the capital v.ilue of all rateable property in the Pukekohe Town District Special Rating Area, (c) A Special Rate of J.£(i in the pound upon the Capital Value of all' rateable properly in the Pukekohe Tewn District Special Rating Area and that such special rates shall he annual recurring rate- during the currency of the respective leans and be payable half yearly on the Ist day of April and the Ist day of October in each year during the currency ol the loans being a period of nine years or such shorter period as may be determined by the Council or until the respective loans are fully paid for.
