WOMEN'S PATRIOTIC LEAGUE BUCKLAND BRANCH On Tuesday, September 4 th, the Buckland Hall was a fcene of unusual interest it lining packing day for " our boys " and all workers interested themselves in doing their utmost to make the troops Xmas a little brighter by receiving a parcel from their own district. Fifty parcels were packed and sent away. The value of each being 12s fid.

Catheurt, Wolfe, Pulman, Bullock, W. Walker, Barber, Carter, Driver, Zimmerman, Waterhouse, 8. Griffin, Floyd, Walsh and R. King 5s each, Mesdames Civil, Kearney, Milroy and Hartland 4s. Mrs Nefll 4s 6i, Mrs L. Bilkey 3s Gd, Messrs Blerent, J. Wylie and Inglis 3s each, Messrs Leighton, Sim, Whitmore, Walker sen., T. Walker, Driver, Melville, Backhouse, Todd, Mcßobbie, L. A. Neal 1 Chest Protectors: Mrs McKean 2, Misses Johnston 3, Pipi Wily 1, Mrs A Avery 2, Mrs W H Butler and Mrs Harris 1 each Muffler: Mrs Waterhouse and Doris Avery 1 each, Jean Milroy 1 donated.

Mittens : Mrs Harris, Veda Harris and Myitle Neal 1 pair each, Mrs Jackson 3.
