Papakura Ratepayers' Association 293 PAPAKURA TOWN BOARD Amendment of By-laws NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Papakura Town Board held on Tuesday the 28th day of August, 1917, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Board to be held on MONDAY, the Ist day of October, 1917, at 10 a.m, at the offices of the Board at Papakura. RESOLUTION In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the " Town Board's Act, 1908," and Part XLII of the " Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," the Papakura Town Board in Special Meeting hereby by Special Order repeals By law No. 1 Part 3 of the Papakura Town Board By-laws 1917, made and passed on Friday, 29th December, 191(5, and confirmed on Monday, February sth, 191", and hereby makes and adopts, and approves by Special Order in its stead the By-law following :—"No person shall bury, or cause or suffer orallow to be buried, Nightsoil within the Papakura Town Board's area unless specially permitted by the Board, and then not within :!3 feet of any road or any house or public building, or any building in which any person may be, or may be intended to be, employed in any manufacture, trade or business." RESOLUTION IN PURSUANCE and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 111 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and with the consent of the ratepayers of [he Park ftoad (Papakura) Special Rating Area in the Franklin County, hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not loss than threefourths of the ratepayers in the said Park Road (l'aoakura) Special Rating Area, the capital "nines of whose properties as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the said County arc collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Franklin County Council hereby resolves, by way <.f Special Order, as follows : For the purpose of forming and metalling Park Road, Papakura. the Franklin County Council hereby authorises the raising of ;i loan of four hundred and fifty pounds (£150) at VA per cent, per annum for a period of %\i year.-, and declares that the cost, of raising the said loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised.
