BILLIARD CONTEST
Pukekohe v. Waiuku A series of billiard matches was played at Mr M. Mclntyre's billiard saloon at Pukekohe last Wednesday evening between seven of the local cueists and an equal number of Waiuku's' crack exponents, each game being 200 up. Considerable interest was taken in the cont°fit, friendly rivalry between the two towns being responsible for additional keenness being centred in the games. A small charge was made for admission and as a result the sum of 30s was received for the benefit of the Soldiers' Xmas Gift Fund.
