Private Reginald McDivitt Private Reginald McDivitt, who as previously announced has been awarded the Military Mec'al fcr an act of gallantry on the field in connection with the battle of Messines, is a Pukekohe " boy " and is the son of Mr W. McDivitt, a member of the staff of the Pukekohe Dairy Factory. Pte McDivitt, who was born in Melbourne on the 28th September, 1894, and is therefore in his 23rd year, was educated at the Pukekohe public school. After leaving school he entered the employ of Mr W. Roulston and afterwards assisted his father, who was then farming in the district Subsequently he entered the service of the Gane Milking Machine Company and travelled the North Island as their representative. Soon after the outbreak of the war he volunteered for service and left with the 2nd Reinforcements.
