PRIME MINISTER'S VISIT

To Pukekohe. It is anticipated that the majority of the members of the Cabinet will accompany the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey) to Pukekohe on Monday next when he is to be entertained by the people of Franklin at a reception in the afternoon and at a public banquet ir the evening. Sir Joseph Ward has provisionally accepted the invitation to be present and similar replies have been received from the Hon. W. H. Herries and the Hon. A. L. Herdman, whilst Sir James Allen has forwarded a definite reply of acceptance The military force will be represented by Col. G. W. Patterson (Officer Commanding the Auckland District) and Major Sir Robt. Walker (Chief of the Auckland Staff), and other visitors will include Mr H. M. Skeet (Commissioner of Crown Lands) and Mr F. V. Frazer, S.M.

For the afternoon ceremony a special train will run to Pukekohe, leaving Auckland at 12.40 p.m., stopping at stations as required, and reaching Pukekohe at 2.15 p.m. It will return from Pukekohe at 4.55 p.m., being due in Auckland at 6.30 p.m. Early application for dinner tickets should be made to Mr A. P. Day, County Clerk, Box 19, Pukekohe.
