SOME NATURE CURES.
The following simple remedies are said to be of real value: — Turnip: are good for nervous disorders, yet it would be unwise for nervous dyspeptics to add a huge quantity of raw, or even cooked, turnips to their meal , as digestive di-turbances would arise which would more than offset any medicinal effects of the turnips. So with any other food recommended for certain disorders. If the food is such that the system can assimilate it without disturbance, sufferers will find the following list useful:— Carrot i for sufferers with asthma. Lettuce is valuable for those suffering fro minsomnia. Honey is wholesome, strengthening, cleansing, healing, and nourishing. Lemons for severe thirst in sickness. for biliousnes 1, low fevers, rheumatism, colds, couglis, ''liver and chest complaints. Celery is invaluable as a food to those suffering from any form of rheumatism, for the diseases of the nerves, and nervous dyspepsia. A lady may publicly declare that she has the very be .t husbiinsd' in the world; but privotely she thinks he might be a trifle better.
