The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report as follows : On Monday at Pukekohe we hold a special dairy sale. There was a large yarding, practically all being sold at satisfactory prices. Best c'airy cows £l3 to £l6 10s, others £9 5s to £l2 10s ; aged and inferior cows, £5 to £7 10s; best dairy heifers £ll to £l4 10s, others £8 to £lO los ; bulls, £7 to £ll l«s At Pukekohe on Tuesday we held our monthly sale and for the time of the year there was a good yarding, prices being on a par with late sales. Three to 3i jear steeis, £l2 to £l4 10s ; two to three-year steers, £9 to £ll 17s; yearling to 18-months 6teers, £0 10s to £8 15s; heifers suitablo purposes, £6 to £8 5a ; steer calves, £4 5s to £5 17s 6d ; heifer calves, £3 to £4 15s ; inferior calves, £l 15s to £2 17s ; empty cows and heifers, £6 to £8 2s 6d ; good yarding of beef at fully Westfield prices.
