The wife swallowed her chagrin, and being good at retaliation, seized her pen and wrote: "Dear Husband, The children and I arc at Brixton. Yours." A few davs later she wrote attain: "We are still in Brixton. . fn Ivt last communication ri° | srrew more enthusiastic: "Dear 11 us- J hand —Here we are. in Brixton. . |,epeat it. sir we arojn Hmton. P Wf> n re. in deed. j In due time her lvisband reached heme and. almost fearing that hr< poor wife had temporarily lost her | senses, hastened to ask the meaning of her strange messages.
