The public who made their way to the Premier -Hall, Pnkekohe, last night in expectation of the concert announced to be given by the Cherniavsky brothers had a fruitless mission. The musicians failed tc put in an appearance and the only explanation forthcoming for their absence was that they were dissatisfied with " advance " bookings being short in number and did not think it worth while under the circumstances to make the journey from Auckland to Pukekohe. The intending audience were highly indignant at their loss of an evening's entertainment and much criticism was passed on the artistes for their lack of courtesy to intending patrons, many of whom had driven in long distances in order to be present at the concert.
