The appeal was heard by the Auckland Military Service Board of William F. McClintock, of Pukekohe. He stated that he was married in June, 1915, and he gave details of financial responsibilities. He had seven brothers and three sisters, four brothers and a sister being under the age of 21 years. His three brotheis of age had been rejected as medically unfit None of tliem could take over trust and private affairs. To Major Oonlan, appellant said he realised that he got the benefit of a mistake, in that he should have been called up under section 35, when his brothers were called up.
