KILLED BY A-HAIRPIN.
An extraordinary fatality was de-
scribed at the in'(|iio.-t at Lancaster (Fug..) on the body of Ellen Patorsnn, the wife of a blacksmith. Wli'lo, the woman was pla\nig "ludo" w.th her hsifb mil and family s'ho tilted back ni her chair and struck the dresser with her head. A hairpin penetrated the scalp, and -mi- d -optic mon'ngit's, from which she died.
