CLEVEDON.

A correspondent writes :• " The ' go-slow ' policy is in evidence here, judging by the neglected state of the little township. The erectioD of a lamp to prevent accidents at the Post Office ' will be there' after some serious accident has happened. One party suggests that hurricane lanterns should be hung on the telephone posts. The strip of blackberries growing along and over the fence near the Post Office would look pretty if trimmed up a bit. The footpath leading from Johnston's to the Public Hall looks as if it could stand a little repairing. Wake up Clevedon and beautify your townjust a wee bit."
