The schedule of William 13. Everett, farmer, of Pokeno, who also been adjudicated bankrupt, shows liabilities amounting to £29 H, and assets nil. In iiis sworn statement, bankrupt states thut ho left Auckland about eight years ago for Palmerston North, whore ho started business with £l, made tho business pay, anil sold out about 12 months ago for £760. Ho had been handicapped with sickness in his family, his wife having died two years after his anival in Palmerston North. With the money from the businoss ho paid off several of his creditors. Since then ho has been assisting his son on his farm at Pokeno. Ho can make no offer to his creditors.
