The Now Zealand Dairy Association, Limited, on tho 21st inst., paid to its suppliers £78,190 7s 2d. This represents tho advance payment for butter-fat supply during the month of March.
A concert in aid of the Lady Liverpool League has been arranged by Miss L. Townson to be given in tho Premier Hall, Pukekohe, on Tuesday, May 22ud. Pro fessioual talent will supply the programme. A largo entry of all classe? of stock has been secured by Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons for their m >nthly stock sale to be held at Pukekohe on Monday next. Particulars of tho same are advertised in this issue.
The Now Zealand Farmers' Cooperative Bacon and Meat Packing Company, Ltd., will bo buying pigs next week as follows : At Onewhero on Monday, at Tuakau on Tuesday, at To Kauwhata on Wednesday and at Papakura and Runeiman on Thursday. Clients are requested to note the alteration of Te Kauwhata, Papakura and Runeiman days, which are due to train curtailments.
