EAST TAMAKI.
PAKTTRANGA HUNT CLUB. The huntsman, Mr Hirst, has supplied the following dates for the meets of the Hunt Club for next month, viz. Saturday, May -*» th, Mangere Pound; Saturday, 12th, Howick School; Wednesday, 16th, Waiuku ; Saturday, 19th, Kennels ; Tuesday, 2'2nd, East Tamaki 8chool; Saturday, 26th, Papatoetoe Creamery. All meets at 12 o'clock.
The monthly meeting of the Road Board will be held on Monday next, at 2 p.m. Owing to the inclemency cf the weather the general ratepayers' meeting, arranged for last week, was postponed until Tuesday evening next, when it will be held in the £&st Tamaki Public Hall. A rather interesting position in connection with the East Tamaki elections is that no nominations were received to fill the two vacancies on the Road Board. Two extraordinary vacancies now occur for which nominations will close on Wednesday, May 9th.
