In accordance with a resolution passed at the last meeting of the Franklin County Council A PUBLIC MEETING will bo held in the Hall, Patumahoe, on THURSDAY, the 26th inst, at 8 p.m. to discuss and consider the advisability of every landowner in the district planting an area in wheat so as to provide flour for the coming season. Without proper means being taken to grow wheat there is every piosprct of a ehortage which the Dominion may not be able to fill from outside sources. Ratepayers and residents are requested to treat the position as seriously as it deserves and as a first step attend this meeting. J.
