ANZAC DAY CELEBRATION

MONDAY, APRIL 23rd

In view of no official arrangements having been made to celebrate the Anniversary of Anzac Day on Monday, April 23rd (the date selected by the Government) I invite the citizens of Pukekohe to assemble in the

PREMIER HALL, at 8 p.m. on that day to adopt a Patriotic Resolution that will be proposed by Mr J. Flanagan (Chairman of the Franklin County Council). The proceedings will open with the spectacular Tableau " Keep the Home Fires Burning " by the Pukekohe Boy and Girl Scouts and selections will be played by the Boys' Fife and Drum Band.

I have been enabled to make the above arrangements through the courtesy of Mr James Costello, who having engaged the hall for the purpose of addressing the Electors, has consented to delay the start of his meeting until 8 45 p m. HENRY DELL,

(President, Pukekohe Chamber of Commerce. 1635
