Last week the members of the Methodist Church held their annual Harvest Thanksgiving Festival, the social function of said festival taking the form of a concert of a very select character, presided over by the Rev. Potter who also bade farewell to the people on that occasion. The chief vocalists of the evening were Mrs Kaye, a visitor from Australia, the possessor of a tine voice, and charming manner; whose * Sorts to entertain were highly appreciated. Miss Milsom, a local vocalist was heard to good advantage, and was deservedly applauded for her items. Miss Hodson acted as accompanist to the vocal efforts with skill and ability. The Misses Morrison played a pianoforte duet in harmony and tune and contributed to the enjoyment. Mr and Miss Dixon were also heard in a musical selection which met with approval.
