Tenders are invited by the District Engineer, by advt. in this issue, for the erection of railway station buildings at Patumahoe and Mauku. Under the auspices of the Franklin A. at.*! P. Society a smoke concert is to be held in the Premier Hall, Pukekohe, on Tuesday evening next in honour of Mr F. C. Shipherd, who has joined the Expeditionary Force. Mr Shipherd £he Society and at the recent Show was one of the most energetic of the stewards.
