The Anzac Cup. Pukekohe v. West End. Pukekohe has challenged the West End (Auckland) Club for the Anzac Cup, which the West End players won a few weeks ago on the Pukekohe green on the occasion of the first contest for its possession. As the holders, the West End will on this occasion be the home club and the games (three rinks) are to be played next Saturday, when Pukekohe will be represented by F. Perkins, R. Fitness, J. Roulston M. Wright (skip). H. V. Gnbble, A. B. Barter, D. Roulton and G. Armstrong (skip). J. Coady, C. R. Lusher, J Adams and J. T. Hewson (skip;.
In a friendly match played at Pukekohe last Saturday against a team of Papatoetoe bowlers, the latter (Tidmarsli, Dilworth, Chapman and Rawnsley) were defeated by the Pukekohe representatives (Perkins, Gill, J. Adams and D. Roulston) 31 —11.
