On Friday evening the Buckland Old Girls' Association gave Miss Johnston a surprise party, tho same taking the form of a haudkerchief evening and a very pleasant time was spent in games etc. Owing to the moist weather there is a good growth of grass and in many cases the milk returns are slightly increasing, which is quite unusual for this time of tho year.
