PAPAKURA.

At the Franklin County Council meeting yesterday Cr Lockwood enquired if the Engineer was in a position to report as to the opening up of Wellington Street, Jfapakura, which was asked for in order to give access to the projected new salevards. The Engineer (Mr McArthur), in reply, stated that he had not yet been able to make a report but would do so as goon as possible.
