The Pukekohe Show.

i TO THE EDITOR ] Sir, —The Pukekohe Show of 1917 is past and over and the A. and P. Society by reason of Saturday's rain have to contend with a falling off of about £44 in gate receipts, thus adding to the financial difficulties previously being experienced. Under such circumstances might I suggest that winners in the Home Industries' section should forego lifting their prize money. Home Industry competitors, unlike exhibitors in the Stock sections, are practically put to no expense in preparing for the Show and it would be a very graceful act on their part if in the Society's time of need they showed a spirit of self-deaial. I for one intend to do so.---I am, etc., A PRIZE WINNER.
